Award-winning microsite to highlight the holiday experience
The Anatole Hilton in Dallas, TX — part of the Hilton Hotels brand — was hosting a debut Christmas celebration complemented with a string of December holiday events. They wanted to spread awareness and invite guests to stay and experience the Hilton brand. It was important that the Hilton brand be elegantly portrayed while creating a connection between the offline and online experiences.
The project was on a very tight schedule of 5 weeks from concept to delivery. In addition, there was a limited budget for event promotion.
Digital Wavefront designed and developed a custom microsite that focused on the campaign objectives of brand awareness coordinated with elegant event promotion. The design team traveled to the hotel to experience first-hand the holiday event preparations and atmosphere so they could reflect the guest experience in the design of the microsite.
The microsite design featured warm, festive color tones to reflect the brand and the spirit of the holidays. In addition, an interactive calendar was developed to highlight each event. The microsite was specifically designed to be easy to navigate to promote discovery. Events were showcased in as much detail as possible to draw in the site visitors and encourage them to book a stay.

Thousands of Visitors and Page Views
Despite a very short discovery and promotion cycle the site managed to attract 2,800 visitors and generated 7,600 page views in 1 month
2.2% Visitors Became Guests
2.2% of site visitors stayed at the hotel within 60 days of their visit.
